The artists I admire do art for love, even those fortunate enough to sell it for money. One does not necessarily lead to the other. People said my work moved them, and some bought it. I want to create for the rest of my life. It is what nourishes my spirit, so I decided to see if it could be a viable business. 

An owner of big galleries in San Francisco and Manhattan agreed to review my work. Though our meeting was at nine in the morning, he answered the door in his bathrobe.
