Incandescence: Rising Above Darkness Excerpt Chapter #31 The Sword Of Truth Cuts Through Confusion

As I called my step sister, I knew she had to come see me, but I had no idea why. Neither of us questioned it when I said, “You have to come see me now! Leave your son with his father and go to the train station. I will not get off the phone until you promise me you will!”

Hours later, she was at my front door. I opened the door and said, “Come in and sit down.” I spoke as I paced the room. “I just met a woman, and within minutes we were sharing our experiences of having been raped. It amazes me how we can be such a powerful healing force in each other’s lives by simply telling the truth.”

As I sat down, my sister said, “I have something to tell you.” The seriousness of her tone was unmistakable.
