INCANDESCENCE: When Opposites Attract The Only Certainty Is Uncertainty

Japanese Crane In Snow Field by Clare Cooley

This art featured in my memoir, Incandescence Rising Above Darkness is included as a moment of serenity between chapters and does not necessarily have any literal connection to the story.

When Polar Opposites Attract And A Saintly Person Marries An Abusive Person The Only Certainty Is Uncertainty

Incandescence Rising Above Darkness Chapter #1 Duality Dance Excerpt

The duality dance of my life began with the monsoon rains drumming on the thin tin roof of our Quonset hut in the desert. The constant dance between light and dark, inspiration and struggle, serenity and chaos surrounded me as my individuality came into existence. The contrast between my safe mother and my dangerous father was the ever-present rhythm of my early life, the ever-present paradox of my mother being full of selfless purpose and my father being full of selfish pain.
